During my internship as a backend developer, I gained valuable experience working with technologies such as Flask and Node.js. I was responsible for developing and maintaining RESTful APIs, ensuring smooth integration with frontend systems. My work involved setting up databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL for efficient data storage and retrieval. I also implemented user authentication and session management using JWT to secure API endpoints. Throughout the internship, I collaborated closely with frontend teams to align backend functionalities with the client-side, optimizing database queries and API routes to improve overall performance. Additionally, I became proficient in deploying applications using Docker and cloud platforms like AWS and Heroku, further enhancing my understanding of backend architecture and deployment practices.
